Equipment Infrastructure
Currently the laboratory has multiple state-of-the-art clusters with close to 1000 cores. The nodes in these clusters are connected with different combination of modern interconnects (InfiniBand - SDR, DDR and QDR Quadrics, Myrinet, Gigabit Ethernet and 10 GigE (with and without iWARP)). Some of these clusters are connected to clusters in other departments and Ohio Supercomputer Center through a campus-wide WAN with dedicated 10GigE links.
